CHARLES TOWN — The 46th annual Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival kicked off on Thursday with the Royal Gala at the Hollywood Ballroom at Charles Town Races.

This event focuses on celebrating and honoring everyone who worked hard to put the festival together, as well as this year’s grand marshal, Jessica Lynch, the 2025 Honored West Virginian Todd Butler and last year’s Queen Pomona, Abigail McBee.
