CLINTON - The Clinton Redwolves dug deep and out-muscled their opponents from Ida on Friday, showing the state they are ready for postseason football with a tough 28-16 win.

Ida kicked things off with a 26-yard field goal from Jaxon Bolster, giving the Bluestreaks a quick 3-0 lead.

Clinton answered with their patented ground game as Clifford Jones scored on a 3-yard touchdown run. Gradyn Whelan found Jones for the two-point conversion, making it 8-3 after one quarter in favor of the Redwolves.
