DENVER | Five of the six singles finalists and four of the eight doubles teams set to play for championships Saturday at the Class 5A boys tennis individual state tennis tournament hail from Aurora area programs.

Regis Jesuit had all seven of its lines make it through Friday’s semifinals at the Denver Tennis Park, while Grandview moved two singles players (sophomore brothers Kaahan and Krish Wani) into championship matches, where they will go head-to-head with Regis Jesuit seniors Clay Dickey and Adam Rydel, respectively, in the 10 a.m. finals.

As a bonus, the Wolves will have one singles players and two doubles teams playing for third place in 8:30 a.m. matches.
