STEWART AIRPORT – Three Leprechaun Lines buses filled with US service veterans and their companions for the day rolled up to the terminal at New York Stewart International Airport early Saturday morning as the men and women were off on Honor Flight #37 to Washington, DC.

Crowds were waiting at the terminal with signs and banners to welcome the hometown heroes as they sang and cheered them on.

The special guests, who are spending the day visiting the historic sites and monuments at the nation’s capital, were escorted on the way to Stewart by Orange County Sheriff’s Office vehicles, motorcycles and color guard, followed by the Hudson Valley Regional Police Pipes and Drums.
