AURORA | Protesting the direction of the country under President Donald Trump, people gathered Saturday in the nation’s capital and communities across the U.S. for ” No Kings ” demonstrations — what the president’s Republican Party is calling “Hate America” rallies.

Saturday marks the second “No Kings” protest and the third mass movement against the administration this year. The protests come amid intensifying conflict between federal law enforcement and protesters nationwide. Some conservative politicians have condemned the protests as “Hate America” rallies, while others see them as a fight for First Amendment rights. Protests are planned in over 2,500 locations, from major cities to rural communities.
