While Friends is beloved, these other sitcoms are actually better. It's hard to deny the place that the '90s series has in popular culture , from Ross Geller's (David Schwimmer) " Pivot! " line to the quirks of the hilarious Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow) . And most of the show is great to revisit, whether we need cheering up or want to see a favorite episode again.

But although Friends will always be a fan-favorite, other sitcoms have more compelling friend groups or a premise that stands out more. From some other 1990s comedies that were on the air at the same time to an underrated 2010s show, these sitcoms are even more enjoyable than the story of six pals living in NYC.
