A wave of abrupt cancellations swept many brilliant Netflix shows to their deathbeds, but the streaming service is finally paying the painful price of not being patient with some of its best series.

As one of the leading forces in the streaming space, Netflix has often been the home for some incredible shows from nearly every major genre. It is these shows that encouraged viewers to trust that the service was giving them their money's worth. Unfortunately, this trust, at times, was broken when Netflix canceled shows with no prior warnings or subsequent explanations.

It has been nearly a decade since some of these beloved Netflix original shows were suddenly axed. However, even now, it is hard not to look back and wonder whether Netflix made the right call by ending them too soon.
