COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Crowds of people are set to participate in the “No Kings 2.0″ protest Saturday afternoon.

The demonstration is scheduled for 12 p.m. at America the Beautiful Park in Colorado Springs.

The event is part of over 2500 protests nationwide, which began as a national campaign aimed at reminding Americans that political power belongs to voters.

Organizers said participants will be able to meet local organizations, sign petitions, make protest signs, register to vote, talk with school board candidates and join workshops highlighting local issues.
