The Memphis Grizzlies will be without another rotation player to start the season.

Guard Scotty Pippen Jr. will undergo a procedure for a left big toe injury, the team announced Saturday.

Pippen Jr., 24, will be re-evaluated in 12 weeks, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Canadian frontcourt players Zach Edey and Brandon Clarke are also both slated to miss time at the start of the season for the Grizzlies with ankle and knee injuries, respectively.

Pippen Jr. averaged 9.9 points, 4.4 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.4 steals while playing a key role off the bench for the Grizzlies last season.

Memphis will need to reach far down its depth chart while it waits for its roster to get healthy.
