This holiday season, Irish native Tadhg Daly will undertake an extraordinary test of stamina and spirit: running seven marathons in seven consecutive days to raise funds and awareness for Solace House, a Queens‑based suicide prevention and mental health center founded by members of the Irish community.

Over the course of the 185‑mile campaign, Daly hopes to put a spotlight on mental health challenges, particularly during the holiday season when many are vulnerable.

“Christmas can be a lonely time, especially for immigrants and those living abroad,” Daly said. “I want to show that even from far away, we can support one another — and remind people they’re never alone.”
