NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio – Officers at 4:39 p.m. Sept. 29 stopped a car on Country Club Boulevard for tinted windows and suspected driving under suspension, according to a police report.

The police officer noted he could not see the driver due to the window tinting, and the listed owner of the car had a suspended license.

As the officer approached the stopped car, the driver lowered his windows, and “smoke billowed out of the car,” according to a police report. The officer smelled a strong odor of burnt marijuana and spotted a marijuana cigarette in the center console. The driver had ashes on his stomach.

The officer asked the driver about the smoke, and the driver said he had smoked about half a “blunt.” Asked if he had any weapons, the driver said there was a 9mm pistol between the driver’
