LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

On Saturday, the Via Colori Street Painting festival returned for its 17th year, for two days of colorful creativity in the streets of downtown Louisville.

Over 200 artists participated in the gallery wall-style painting event, lining the sidewalks of the Waterfront Park with over 150 unique pieces of art. In addition to the art, the event also featured live music and performances, vendors, and food.

There were also opportunities for kids to get involved in the creation of the street paintings, with other games and activities, including a character and superhero meet and greet for the youngest of patrons to enjoy.

Proceeds from the 2025 festival benefit the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana’s girls’ leadership program.

The event runs Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Oct.
