LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
Community families joined LMPD's 8th division for its annual fall festival at Portland Christian Little School.
The free event featured a Touch-a-Truck experience for the kids, giving them the chance to see officers and police vehicles up close, including LMPD's helicopter.
Organizers say events like these help them strengthen the bond with the communities they serve. They also had food, drinks, live music, and plenty of fall activities.
Head of Portland Christian Little School, Josh Le Sage, said, “We like to do this once a year just to show the community how much we love and appreciate being part of the community. And we get to meet a lot of neat people and have fantastic vendors. And the local artisans get to share their gifts with the community.”
