STEVENS POINT − The annual leaf pickup in Stevens Point is set for the week of Nov. 3, according to a community announcement.

Residents should have their leaves bagged and at the curb by 7 a.m. Nov. 3. The leaves may not be picked up until later in the week, but crews will only go through each area once.

The yard waste drop-off site near Bukolt Park will have extended hours from Oct. 1 to Dec. 1. It will be open from 1-7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays. Residents are encouraged to drop off their leaves if possible.

Crews will be pulled from their regular duties to run the pickup, so some other projects will have to be put on hold.
