WINSTON COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) -- A Haleyville man was killed in a single-vehicle crash that occurred early Saturday morning in Winston County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Jeremy Rogers, 44, was fatally injured when the Nissan Altima he was driving departed the roadway and hit a tree. Rogers was reportedly not using a seat belt, and he died at the scene.
The crash occurred around 3:35 a.m. on Highway 278 near Winston County 89 about three miles east of Double Springs.
