NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Six teenagers are facing charges after they were reportedly found driving two stolen cars, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.

MNPD reports that Violent Crimes Detectives spotted a Hyundai Elantra traveling through an Antioch neighborhood before it was joined by a Kia Soul. The cars drove in tandem before separating.

The Hyundai was disabled by detectives on Murfreesboro Pike at Bell Road. Detectives then arrested the 15-year-old driver, who was armed with a pistol with an extended magazine, MNPD said.

According to MNPD, the Hyundai was stolen on Friday.

The 15-year-old is charged with vehicle theft, evading arrest, and juvenile handgun possession in Juvenile Court.
