KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Staying dry and breezy tonight but waking up to thunderstorms early Sunday morning.

TONIGHT: Clouds will begin to build tonight as the system continues to push eastward. We will remain mild tonight with temperatures in the low 60s, and it will be breezy at times with sustained southerly winds between 10-15 mph and gusts up to 25 to 30 mph being a possibility. Even a few locations are under a wind advisory tonight including portions of the Plateau as well as the mountains with wind gusts up to 40 mph or greater possible.

SUNDAY: A line of thunderstorms will enter the Cumberland Plateau as early as daybreak Sunday morning. The rain will continue to push eastward through the morning hours, lasting until around lunchtime. That will be the main “heavy soaking” ty
