DEXTER -- They’re a tight-knit community, ready to support one another in any given situation. That’s what residents of Dexter, Maine will tell you about their town and their fellow members of the community. That much was evident on Saturday morning, when Dexter Regional High School and T-Mobile hosted a pregame tailgate in celebration of their school being named a finalist in the T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights competition.

“It’s an awesome feeling," said english teacher Kacie Ponti. "It’s a great feeling to have the community show up here and we’re really excited about it.”

“When we have a common goal in this little town, everybody does get behind you," said Dexter resident Al Kimball. "When you have an event where everyone needs to come together, this town has always rallied.”
