All roads have reopened following a shooting that left a 28-year-old woman shot in the chest early Saturday morning in Hyannis, police told MassLive.

The incident happened at around 4:16 a.m. at 174 Main St. When Barnstable Police arrived, they found the woman with a gunshot wound to the chest and immediately provided assistance.

Hyannis Fire and Rescue arrived and drove the woman to Cape Cod Hospital, the Barnstable Police Department said in a Facebook post . She was flown to a Boston hospital for further treatment.

The Cape Cod Regional Law Enforcement Council SWAT Team assisted Barnstable police with two active scenes located within the 100 block of Main Street, the department said.
