CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - One person is seriously hurt after a shooting Saturday evening in west Charlotte, according to MEDIC.

MEDIC said the shooting happened just before 6 p.m. on Babbling Brook Way.

According to MEDIC, the person who was shot was taken to a hospital to be treated for their injuries.

WBTV is working to learn what led up to the shooting.
