CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - An emotional night on Friday as family and friends came together to honor the young man killed at a Charlotte Wingstop on Sunday night.

Charlotte police said 19-year-old Joelle “JoJo” Clesca was shot at his job at the restaurant on Beatties Ford Road.

Three people have been charged with his murder. Police said Santario Turner, Deandre Chisholm, and Justin Jones were all arrested this week.

The family described Clesca as a young man who worked hard and was a loving and loyal friend. Now they’re mourning the 19-year-old who they say had so much left to accomplish.

“God sent an angel into my life, which was JoJo,” said Kobie Emanuel, Clesca’s grandfather.
