TEMPE, Ariz. — Tight end Terrance Carter Jr. was carted off the field with a lower-body injury during the third quarter of Texas Tech football's game at Arizona State on Saturday, Oct. 18.Carter was injured early in the third quarter on an incomplete pass thrown for him. The injury appeared to be to his left leg. He was carted to the locker room at Mountain America Stadium.
Carter and Missouri's Brett Norfleet went into the week as the FBS co-leaders in touchdown catches by a tight end with five apiece.
The junior from Harker Heights has 23 catches for 297 yards.
