SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - On Saturday, protests were held around the state as part of a national movement.
The “No Kings” protests, hosted by Indivisible 605 and 50501 South Dakota, are joining more than 2,100 protests being held in cities all across the country.
This is a follow-up to the first No Kings Day protest earlier this year, when over five million people nationwide protested the Trump administration and the consolidation of the Executive Branch’s power.
“I came because I am tired of watching Donald Trump use the Constitution as a diaper, and I’m tired of seeing people in this country go without due process,” said Coleen Andera, who participated in Saturday’s Sioux Falls protest.
