Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse starting center Austin Collins left the Orange’s game against Pittsburgh on Saturday and went to the locker room following an injury suffered on SU’s first offensive play of the game.

No player on the Syracuse roster has played more snaps this season than Collins. He was replaced by Josh Miller.

Collins, a key communicator on the offensive line, went down following a run by Yasin Willis to open the game. He left the field on his own but largely avoided putting pressure on one foot as he skipped to the sideline.

The center immediately went into Syracuse’s injury tent and headed to the locker room shortly after.

It’s unclear what his status is for the rest of the game.
