Aside from an early miscue, it was all No. 8 Oregon in the first half Saturday as the Ducks faced Rutgers in Piscataway, New Jersey.

The Scarlet Knights jumped out to a 3-0 lead after an Oregon fumble on the third scrimmage play of the game. But then the Ducks scored six touchdowns in a row to take a 42-3 lead into halftime.

Running back Noah Whittington scored three touchdowns and tight end Kenyon Sadiq added two more to lead the Ducks. Whiittington finished the half with 10 carries for 120 yards and two catches for 9 yards, while Sadiq had four catches for 80 yards.

Quarterback Dante Moore went 14 of 18 for 279 yards and four TDs.

Oregon’s onslaught began with Whittington taking a pitch and running 68 yards down the left sideline to the end zone.
