HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - It was a cool and windy day today with temperatures in the 50’s and 60’s. Winds gusted up to 35-40 mph at times today, but will decrease into the night. Skies will clear out as well allowing temperatures to plummet tonight. Overnight lows will fall into the upper 20’s across western Nebraska, low to mid 30’s across central Nebraska, and upper 30’s to the east. Freeze warnings are in place for locations likely to fall into the low 30’s and upper 20’s. Frost advisories are in place where temperatures are expected to fall into the mid 30’s. Temperatures tomorrow warm back into the mid to upper 60’s with a few low 70’s across southwestern Nebraska. Plenty of sunshine is expected tomorrow as winds will be breezy around 10-20 mph.
