The Sacred Heart Academy volleyball team wrapped up Senior Night in style late Friday, sweeping Upper Darby, 3-0, to grab the final spot in the District 1 Class A tournament.

Lidia Belle powered the Lions (8-11) with seven kills and four blocks, while Emme Ford added five kills and three aces. Emma Greenwood chipped in with four digs and a pair of aces, and Grace Press finished with five digs. Setter Sophie Ballios handed out 26 assists.

Field Hockey

Gabby Lee paired two goals with two assists in Agnes Irwin’s 8-2 triumph over Germantown Academy in an Inter-Ac League game Friday.

Lucy Jones added a goal and an assist, while goalie Sophia Botta finished with three saves for the Owls.
