Playboi Carti has been charged with misdemeanor assault in Utah.

The 30-year-old rapper was arrested following an incident that allegedly involved his limousine driver earlier this month, according to TMZ .

Law enforcement says the incident occurred on October 2 while Carti was in the state for his Antagonist Tour .

The limo driver—identified as Carl Reynolds —told police he was driving the “ FOMDJ ” rapper and his entourage from the Waldorf Astoria in Park City to rehearsal when the incident happened. The driver said he thinks Carti hit his girlfriend, but that he didn’t see it happen.
