A man was shot and killed in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood of Philadelphia on Saturday night, police said.

The shooting occurred not far from East Fairmount Park at the 3300 block of Ridge Avenue at around 7:33 p.m., police said.

The 36-year-old man was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:51 p.m., police said.

No arrests have been made or motives determined, but the Philadelphia Police Department's Homicide Unit is investigating the incident.
