Michigan and Michigan State will play in a primetime game next Saturday at 7:30 p.m. on NBC at Spartan Stadium, it was announced Saturday night.
This will be the 118th meeting between the in-state rivals and Michigan leads the series, 74-38-5. For the 73rd time, the teams will compete for the Paul Bunyan Trophy, with Michigan holding the advantage, 41-29-2.
This is the fourth-straight Michigan-Michigan State that will kick off in primetime. The first time the programs met for a night game was in 2017.
Michigan has won three straight in the rivalry, including a 24-17 victory last season in a night game at Michigan Stadium. Tight end Colston Loveland, now with the Chicago Bears, had two touchdown receptions and caught a pass for a 2-point conversion to lead the Wolverines.
