LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Thousands of people gathered at the Belvedere in Louisville to participate in nationwide ‘No Kings Day’ protests.

The peaceful protests are denouncing the policies and actions by President Donald Trump and his administration.

Louisville held a protest in June that also brought out thousands.

There were plenty of homemade signs showing there support for immigrants and the dislike of the use of ICE by the Trump administration.

“My sign is very basic that we just need to be united as Americans. I grew up in the 70s and I grew up in a time when it was all about the melting pot. Our diversity is our strength and when we start separating people, that's when we have trouble," Margaret Archambault, a protester said.
