MONTREAL — Matthew Robertson’s first NHL goal completed the comeback for the New York Rangers as they defeated the Montreal Canadiens 4-3 at the Bell Centre on Saturday night.
Robertson’s goal came at 4:11 of the third period, and was the second of three third-period goals for the Rangers (3-3-1). It was the defenceman’s sixth career game.
Mika Zibanejad, J.T. Miller and Artemi Panarin also scored for New York, who moved to 3-0-1 on the road this season. Adam Fox had two assists, and Panarin added three helpers. Jonathan Quick made 20 saves.
