PROVO, Utah – The BYU Cougars are on the board first after Bear Bachmeier led a drive that ended with an 18-yard strike to Chase Roberts in the corner of the end zone.

BYU’s first lead came after both defenses controlled the opening 15 minutes.

One play after hitting Roberts for 26 yards to reach the red zone, the duo linked up again.

Bachmeier took the snap and fired a missile at the top of Roberts’ reach near the goal line. Before the helpless defender could turn his head, Roberts snatched the ball out of the air for his fourth touchdown of the season.
