Florida football needed a big play on defense late to pull off a 23-21 homecoming win before an announced 90,203 at The Swamp.

Defensive tackle Michai Boireau's interception at the UF 29-yard line with 26 seconds left sealed a win in what could end up as the last game for Florida Gators coach Billy Napier.

"Proud of the players, man," Napier said. "I think it's very uncommon for them to do what they've done. I think that's a tribute to the relationships they have with each other, the loyalty that they have."

Florida (3-4, 2-2 SEC) will head into its second open week of the season banged up, with time to heal before a Nov. 1 showdown with rival Georgia in Jacksonville (3:30 p.m., ABC).
