There are only 19 days left for the first phase of Bihar elections. October 20 is the last date to withdraw nominations for the first phase, but the 'Mahagathbandhan' has still not finalised seat-sharing.
All parties in the 'Mahagathbandhan' are distributing tickets to their candidates. On Saturday night, Congress announced 5 more candidates in its second list; the first list had 48 names. Meanwhile, seat-sharing in the NDA has already been finalised.
All parties have fielded their candidates, but the discussion continues over the CM face. Central Minister Chirag Paswan said, "Our alliance has five parties; the legislators who win will choose their own leader."
