AMESBURY — Fresh off the heels of completing a downtown wave mural in the city’s Upper Millyard, local educator and artist Cat Debrocke jumped into her newest venture, opening The Center Art + Community this summer.

Debrocke, an art teacher at Newburyport’s River Valley Charter School, officially opened The Center, a nonprofit art and community space at 12 Oakland St. in July.
