MACON, Ga. — The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that left three people dead late Saturday night in Macon.

A sheriff's office press release says 911 dispatchers received a call around 10:25 p.m. reporting a man had been shot on Williams Street. The caller reported a 27-year-old man had been shot and taken to the hospital. According to the report, medical staff confirmed the victim died at the hospital.

The sheriff's office says deputies received another call and responded to the 500 block of Williams Street just before 11 p.m. At that time, deputies found two men unresponsive, both suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
