Mangaluru: Two girls are reported to have been injured in an incident of lightning strike on a house in Madhava Nagara of Madhya village, Surathkal, during thunderstorm on Saturday night.

The injured are identified as Lavanya (19) and Soujanya (16), who sustained minor injuries and were treated at a private hospital in Mukka.

The house is owned by Baby and five people live in it. The walls and floor of the house were found to have been damaged by the lightning strike.
