An FIR has been registered against an unidentified person on charges of abetment of suicide in connection with the death of a stenographer who fell from the sixth floor of a court building in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur city. So far, no suicide note has been recovered from the scene.

Police Commissioner Raghubeer Lal identified the deceased as Neha, a resident of the Ghatampur area of the city. The police said the reason behind her alleged suicide was yet to be determined.

According to the police, on Saturday afternoon, they received information about a woman falling from the sixth floor of the court building. A police team immediately went to the spot and recovered her body.
