Brown football loses to Princeton 40

PROVIDENCE – That winning formula Brown managed to find against its nonconference opponents hasn’t carried over to Ivy League play.

A thrashing at Harvard in late September was followed by a difficult Saturday afternoon against Princeton at Brown Stadium. The Bears made the kind of painful mistakes that won’t allow them to contend for the first automatic FCS playoff berth awarded by the conference in November.
