New Delhi: India's automobile exports have clocked a robust 26 per cent increase in the July-September quarter to cross 16.85 lakh units, compared with 13.35 lakh units in the same period of the previous year, reflecting the greater acceptance of India-made cars, two-wheelers and three-wheelers in overseas markets, according to figures released by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM).

The exports of passenger vehicles, comprising cars, SUVs and utility vehicles, jumped by 23 per cent to 2,41,554 units in the July-September quarter of 2025-26, up from 1,96,196 units in the same quarter of the previous financial year.
