NEWARK – In football, an experienced defense can take you a long way.

It took Newark to its fourth straight victory on Oct. 18, as the Yellowjackets intercepted four passes in the second half to stifle Concord 16-7 in a Class 1A matchup to lead our roundup of Saturday’s Delaware high school football games.
