Mumbai: This year’s two Diwali releases may not have a great impact at the box office like we normally have every year. This Diwali, on the 21st of October the horror comedy Thamma from Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock stable will be releasing along with a love story Ek Deewane Ki Dewaaniyat starring Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa. But the total day one is not very impressive.

Exhibitor and distributor Raj Bansal feels Diwali releases in Bollywood have always been headlined by big superstars and big ticket films, and this year is one of the rarity when there is no big name. Last year, we had Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again and Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
