New Delhi: The National Medical Commission ( NMC ) issued Interim Guidelines on Assessment Method for Granting Admission in Postgraduate Courses to Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) for the academic year 2025-26, in accordance with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016, and directives of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

The guidelines, shared by the Medical Counselling Committee ( MCC ), which the counselling authority received on October 15, 2025, outline the framework for evaluating PwD candidates during the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate ( NEET PG ) counselling for the academic year 2025 and ensure equitable access to postgraduate medical education.
