Deepti Sharma entered her name in the history books on Sunday (October 19) by becoming the first Indian cricketer to score 1500 runs and take 150 wickets in women’s ODIs. Deepti, who has 2607 runs to her credit in 50-over matches for India, needed one wicket on Sunday to complete 150 dismissals in women’s ODIs, and she achieved the objective by taking Tammy Beaumont’s wicket.

Tammy Beaumont was bowled by Deepti on the last ball of the 16th over of England’s innings in the ongoing ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 match between India and England at Holkar Stadium in Indore.
