New Delhi: Ahead of the Bihar assembly elections, Union Minister Giriraj Singh’s derogatory remarks against minorities has drawn serious criticism from the opposition. Singh made the remarks while taking about Muslims, who according to him take full benefits of all government shemes but are ungrateful.

During a BJP rally in Arwal district, Singh said that his party doesn’t need the votes of “namak harams,” or people he described as ungrateful.

While addressing the BJP’s nomination rally of the BJP candidate from Arwal, Singh compared the BJP’s rule to previous governments and said some communities do not value the benefits they receive from government schemes.
