From hearing footsteps to images of a horse and its caretaker, the Parastudy Inc. mansion has stories to tell, according to its owners, but on Saturday, it was the host of a witch-y event to support the 19th century home.
“You don’t have to see spirits to be here,” Aston resident Kit Spayd, treasurer of Parastudy Inc. and an Appalachian witch, said. “You just have to have an open mind … This is such a spectacular place and the energy is so warm and welcoming.”
Parastudy Inc. is a nonprofit educational, religious and spiritual learning center at 354 Valleybrook Road in Chester Heights. On Saturday, the group hosted its first “Witches Day Out,” which they hope becomes an annual event.
