Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol Sunday refuted allegations that he was involved in the sale of a property belonging to the Jain trust in Pune. The Lok Sabha MP from Pune said when the sale transaction was finalised, he was not associated with the builder who had purchased the property.

”I was in no way involved with the purchase of the Jain property. All the transactions were carried out by the Gokhale builders,” Mohol told reporters in Pune .

Mohol was responding to the allegations made by farmer leader Raju Shetti and Shiv Sena leader Ravindra Dhangekar. Both alleged that the deal was done at the behest of Mohol. The Jain community in Pune has strongly protested the sale transaction.
