HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - A dynamic line of storms is marching across the Bluegrass State today, followed by a true taste of late October weather.
A strong cold front is slicing across Kentucky this morning, bringing a band of showers and a few embedded thunderstorms. Some of these storms could deliver strong wind gusts, especially across parts of central and eastern Kentucky, though the severe threat remains on the lower end.
Even after our storms become more scattered in the afternoon, winds will continue to play a big role today. Gusts will consistently range between 25 - 35mph - occasionally topping at 40mph.
