From kids selling cupcakes or donating their pocket money, to the mums and dads completing breathtaking physical challenges, everyday West Australians have once again shown that together, they can be incredible.

Last year, community fundraisers raised more than $1 million for the first time in Telethon ’s history — and this year they went even better, raising a remarkable, record-breaking $1.5 million.

In the weeks and months leading up to the weekend — and throughout every single heart-filled hour of it — generosity poured in from every corner of the State.

Hundreds of community groups and individual fundraisers contributed to the fundraising total — more than ever before.

They rolled up their sleeves to do whatever they could to help WA’s sick kids.
